Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 June 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using FlightLedger you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

FlightLedger is a digital pilot logbook application that helps Australian pilots track flight currency requirements under CASR Part 61. It provides tools for logging flights, monitoring currency status, and exporting logbook records.

3. Not an official logbook

Important: FlightLedger is a personal record-keeping tool only. It is not an officially recognised logbook under CASR. You are responsible for maintaining accurate official records as required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). FlightLedger's currency calculations and expiry warnings are provided as a convenience — always verify currency requirements against current CASR regulations.

4. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share your account credentials with others
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use FlightLedger

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use FlightLedger for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the service
  • Upload malicious files or content
  • Misrepresent your flight hours or qualifications

6. Data and privacy

Your use of FlightLedger is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual property

The FlightLedger application, design, and code are owned by Anton Bulzomi. Your flight data belongs to you — we claim no ownership over it. You may export your data at any time from Settings → Data & Backup.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

FlightLedger is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that currency calculations will always be accurate. Regulatory requirements change — always consult current CASR regulations for authoritative guidance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, FlightLedger and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to any lapse in flight currency that was not correctly identified by the application.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of FlightLedger after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
